The WIRC maintains a small budget for its events, programs, and advocacy around campus. All funds are monitored by the Director of Finance and are used for various projects, from advertising to Windsor Welcome Week events. As the budget itself is not very sizeable, the WIRC also maintains a fundraising committee in order to gather the remainder of the funds required for operation throughout the year.
The Fundraising Committee is devoted to raising funds for the WIRC as well as various charities around the city. In the past the Fundraising Committee has organized candygrams, "slave" auctions, as well as other fundraising events. This year the Committee is hoping to run other various fundraisers as well as raise awareness in students on campus for the many charities that operate out of Windsor.
